Santa Claus is coming to town. And we have been busy preparing.
We met Santa and Declan told Mr. C he wanted a boat with oars and Rory wants a punching bag!

We made the stocking felt ornament and then did an exchange with friends. We will be making more to fill our tree.

We have had enjoyed many nights of neighborhood house lights and visited one of our favorite houses and danced with Santa.

We've got moves!....
We had a play date with lots of girlfriends, Macy, Laney, Kate, Riley and Macy (2). Macy and Laney have a train that goes around their Christmas tree that Rory went Ape over. We made salt ornaments with their finger prints. Declan did the snowman and Rory did the tree and they each made a reindeer with their thumbprint.
We made soap for Declan and Rory's classmates for Christmas.

We had two full days of tricks and treats. Declan was the Incredible Hulk (again, thank you cousin Dan- he obviously loves the costume) and Rory was Superman. So to carry on the superhero theme, Donal dressed at Batman and I was Robin.
Our Halloween started Friday at the boys school. They were their costumes to school and go to parade around the museum and then go trick or treating in all the back offices. I had no idea there was so much staff, they had a ton of candy by the end of it. Then to top things off one of Rory's classmates had a birthday and brought in cupcakes to celebrate!
That evening Declan's friend, Filip, celebrated his 5th birthday with a costume party at his house. Tons of fun and more treats and cake.
Saturday we met again with Filip and his family along with Alexander and his family. Declan decided to be a construction worker this time! We trick or treated in the Rio Vista neighborhood. The gang had a blast. Rory and I ran out of gas early and headed back to the house to hand out candy. Declan collected 76 pieces of candy, he was delighted!
Declan started Pre-K 4 this year at the YAA museum. They have an amazing program and the teachers are fabulous. Declan warmed up very quickly and loves going. Rory started in the 3 year old classroom last week. They said they would take him as long as he was potty trained. Both boys go MWF 8:30-11:30 and Declan also goes Tue/Thur for full days. Declan's teacher sends pic and videos every Friday so parents can see what they are up to.

Sunny and Sky are the classroom pets. We got to bring them home one weekend. Declan did a great job remebering to feed and water them each day and making sure their cage was covered at night. Here Declan tells the class about the experience....
