Happy 3rd Birthday Declan

"Happy Birthday to you"

The big three! Declan had a great day and we have been celebrating all week with presents that keep arriving in the mail and with grammy who came on Thursday. He is totally into superman right now and this stems from his buddy at school who is batman. His teacher told me that Declan said since Anthony is Batman, I am Superman. And on most days when we walk in to class Anthony says Hi Superman Declan- its so funny! So when he woke up on his birthday morning he open his superman shoes, he was so excited to wear them to school!  After school we went to the park and met Coleman there who brought him ice cream. Then we came home and opened presents with daddy and sang happy birthday, twice, he loves blowing out the candles. We are having his superman birthday party with his friends on Sunday, April 6th.

Zoo Miami

Woo Hoo the Zoo!

Donal and I took Declan to Zoo Miami (the day Sive was born, a new cousin). The zoo is huge and about an hour drive so we left Rory with my mom. We rented a family bike and took three hours crusing the zoo. We saw lions, tigers and bears! The gorillas and chimps were awesome. And we fed the rhino and giraffes! Declan was hesitant  about the rhino but got a kick out of feeding the girafes. We also saw elephants, hippos, antelope, squirrels, all types of birds and even a polar bear- but he was made of legos.

Rory 11 months

no more laying down for pics

Happy 11 months baby Rory! Our baby is turning into a toddler next month and we are noticing the changes. He is a little more opinionated and demanding, and not quite so passive and easy anymore. With that said he is still so sweet and very happy and does well playing on his own. He weighs about 25lbs, he has been one constant growth spurt! He is cutting all four of his top teeth at the moment! He is taking the teething like a champ, I haven't known it to bother him thankfully. He's cruising along the furniture very well, pushing toys around the house, and starting to climb- eeeek! He continues to do a lot of babbling. Him and Declan get on well for the most part with the occasional wrestle for a toy!

10 months- Rory!

Our not so little boy!

Our little Rory, he is so precious. He changes everyday, its amazing. He weighs about 23 pounds, and fitting mostly in 18 months clothing. We started a mommy and me class recenly at 'my gym,' one of the places Declan and I used to play at when he was a wee one. He's very social in class and has been enjoying the other babies. He just started cruising along the couch at home and he is pushing things around in the play room. He says mama and dada and babbles a lot and is always cracking up at big brother Declan.
