Declan and mommy day

Declan and mommy had a fun-filled day! It started out with a trip to the movies. This being Declan's second time to the movie theater. About a month ago Donal and I took him to see Monsters University. This time we saw Clifford the Big Red Dog. During the summer at the theater they play oldie but goodie toddler and kid movies, so the theater was filled with little ones. He enjoyed his popcorn and a lollipop! After we took a drive to get his first ice cream cone down by the pier. He loved every minute of it while it melted all over in the heat of the day. We then kicked off our shoes and played in the sand under the pier since we didn't come prepared. It was one of those perfect days and ended with a 3 hour nap- WOW!

Rory's 3 Months

Rory was 3 months yesterday! He is still gaining weight like a champ, he's 15 1/2 pounds. He is starting to smile a little and has much better head control now. With my mom with us so much we don't need to take Rory out (which has been nice), but we had our first family outing over the weekend. We took the boys to Flamingo Gardens to see some wildlife. Declan was a little crabby at first, maybe because Rory was with us and Donal had him in the carrier, but it passed and he enjoyed the day.

Happy 4th!

I took Declan to the Lauderdale by the Sea 4th of July Parade. He enjoyed all the different types of fire trucks, music and the people. But most of all, loved all the candy being tossed to him!

That night Donal and I went to a Party and left the boys home with grammy. They watched the neighbors set off fireworks and later watched NY City's fireworks on TV. And then they fell asleep in bed together- cutest thing yet!!
