Preparing for Ireland

We've had a lot of rain lately, a few great lightning storms and a ton of thunder. Sunday morning we were letting daddy sleep in from his late night at the bar, so we enjoyed breakfast downstairs and played in the rain.

Choo Choo

Declan pushes and rides on the choo choo train from his grammy all the time in the house and down the hallway. Daddy decided to take a ride and see what all the fun was about...

He loves his fruit

We have a fruit bowl on the counter and Declan will point and have us take him over to it so he can choose a piece of fruit. Here is a video of him with a peach. One of his new favorites.

Declan and Chase round II

Back in December

We watched Declan's friend Chase for two days last week. We had lots of fun. Declan played a little rough sometimes and is learning to share, but overall did great. Declan though was very curious of Chase's face, head and mouth. He wanted to keep poking at him, and by the end of the day Chase had had enough. They were in the stroller together and Declan had his finger in Chase's mouth for probably the tenth time and what do you know Chase chomped down. Not hard enough to do anything but just enough to let Declan know he was over it, it was quite funny.

Declan goes to School

Declan started school today. He is enrolled on Mondays and Wednesdays at Kids Learning Academy. I stayed with him for the first hour while they played in water and had their snack, and then I sneaked out while he was on the playground. The teachers said he did great, and only cried for a few minutes once he realized I was gone.  They nap on mats so I wasn't sure how that was gonna go over, but he slept for two hours. The teachers said he really enjoyed finger painting-maybe he will be an artist!
